Tallinn, a well-known Hanseatic town, received its township rights in 1248 and is mostly known for its Medieval Old Town. This fairytale neighborhood of gabled houses, Gothic spires and cobblestone streets is also ranked among the Europe’s most technology-oriented cities, leading the way in everything from free public Wi-Fi to e-government.

Tallinn is also known for its Song and Dance Celebration. This is almost a sacred notion. It stands for the true birthday of Song and Dance, a great spiritual feast, a tradition not to be missed.

The Song Celebration tradition started in the middle of the 19th century and it has survived all of the twists and turns in Estonia’ s history.

Song Celebration – this is a joy. Because Song Festivals are irreplaceable and unique, they can only be experienced on site.

Therefore we have prepared audio files with different speed to help you to practice for the event by your voice type. You can find files here (note the file size is 100mb)
